Marillion - “Childhoods End?”

God, I haven’t heard this song in ages….I remember being introduced to Marillion back when a local radio station was broadcasting from London for a week, Kayleigh was a hit at the time and then a dear female friend I spent too many years pining over turned me onto all their albums: Script for a Jester’s Tear, Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood.  It’s a shame their Lyricist Fish couldn’t get over “Kayleigh” and hold onto the light of “Childhoods End” which lead to their four album, “Clutching at Straws” and Fish’s departure from the band.  An album I could relate to far too much at the time.

But did get to see them once before Fish left…Marillion just wasn’t the same after that (at least not for me).
